AXTELL - The Washington County boys had a hot first quarter at Axtell on Friday, scoring 22 points, including four 3-pointers from three different players. But the six-point margin wasn’t enough, with Axtell working their way back to within a point of Washington County by half, then overtaking the Tigers to go to a 57-53 win. The Eagles sunk nine 3-pointers in the game.
