FRANKFORT – Clifton-Clyde was able to get off to a good start against Washington County in the first round of the Twin Valley League tournament on Saturday in Frankfort. The Eagles built a comfortable lead then held the margin through most of the game, winning 40-34.

Shea Wurtz and Emma Nobert scored 14 points each for the Eagles, while Kirsten Ouellette had 12 points for the Tigers.
