CLYDE – Senior Wyatt Lange had a huge inside game for Clifton-Clyde in their first game back from break on Friday against Axtell at home. He had a double-double, with 26 points and 12 rebounds. Fellow post Jarik Weiche had 16 points and Aiden Rudolph was successful feeding the ball to them with eight assists. The Eagles won 63- 40.

18-3 second quarter allows girls to coast

CLYDE – While the game started close, the Clifton-Clyde girls had a huge second quarter, scoring 18 points to Axtell’s 3 in Friday’s home game. Freshman Shea Wurtz had 11 points in the second quarter on her way to a game-leading 18 points.

Both teams were strong from the free throw line, with the Eagles going 18 for 22, while Axtell went 13 for 18.

Clifton-Clyde had a 28-11 lead at half on their way to a 50-28 win.
