More than 440 youth have been playing recreational summer baseball and softball on Washington County teams this summer, according to numbers provided by local coaches. Both the number of players and the number of local teams are up from last year. GIRLS TEAMS There were a combined 232 girls playing on 21 softball teams in the county this year, which is up from 211 girls on 18 teams last year…
