Donna Lohse, 82, of Hanover, died Feb. 7, 2021, at Chappell, Neb.

Donna Lana Lohse was born Oct. 4, 1938, in Eldorado, the daughter of Charles Parscal and Marjorie Thompson Parscal.

She was baptized and confirmed in her Christian faith on Jan. 23, 1958, at Grace Lutheran Church of Eldorado by the Rev. Eric 0. Metzdorf.

On Aug. 18, 1957, she was united in marriage to Melvin Lohse at Grace Lutheran, Eldorado, by Pastor Metzdorf.

She was a homemaker, helped her husband on the farm, and was a waitress at Ricky’s Café in Hanover for many years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marjorie; by her husband Melvin in 2018; brothers, Charles Jr., Leslie, Kenneth, and Richard Parscal.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Tami) Lohse, of Hanover; Jerry (Syndee) Lohse, of Marysville; Ronda (Dale) Mitchell, of Chappell, Neb.; Teresa (David) Howard, of Lincoln, Neb.; brother Carlos, of Athens, Greece; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Feb. 13 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover. Rev. Rodney Fritz officiated. Arlyce Klipp played the organ and the hymns were “Open Now Thy Gates of Beauty”, “I’m But A Stranger Here” and “Amazing Grace”.

Pallbearers were Dustin Mitchell, Colt Mitchell, Parker Dykes, Josef Smith, Jakob Smith, J.T. Smith, Shawn Howard, Eric Howard, Shane Lohse and Spencer Lohse.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

A memorial fund is established and contributions may be sent in care of Hanover Mortuary, Hanover.
