Fall harvest brings 6 million bushels of grain to local elevators so far

Harvest is going full-speed across the county. The quality and yields are good, according to local grain elevator officials, and the grain is dry. Soybean harvest may be half done in the Clifton area, according to Casey Huckett, who is the location manager for the Clifton elevator. Corn harvest may be about 25-percent complete.
