An unusual formation and a handy smartphone app showed a “Doomsday plane” spent some time refueling over Washington County last week. On May 8, a couple jets were spotted high above Palmer, flying one in front of the other, and using the Flightradar24 app, it was discovered that a E-4B Nighwatch was being refueled by a KC-135R Stratotanker.
