CLYDE - It was a game of halves between Clifton-Clyde and Hanover on Feb. 9 at Clyde. The two teams matched up for the first time since the Twin Valley League tournament championship game.

Clifton-Clyde had the better first half, with Wyatt Lange scoring 12 of his i6 points in the first half to lead the Eagles. Clifton-Clyde also hit two 3-pointers in the first half and led 29-23 at the break. But Hanover made adjustments in the second half, holding Lange to four points in the fourth quarter only, and Hanover center Blake Hynek had a strong game in the paint with ii of his game-leading 17 points in the second half.

Hanover pulled ahead with a 36-34 lead to start the fourth quarter and won 52-45.
