Hanover scores 61 in win over Blue Valley

HANOVER – Three 3-pointers in the first quarter by Blue Valley kept the score close to start the game against the Hanover girls on Tuesday at Hanover.

But the Wildcats put up 17 points in the second and 15 in the third to build a large lead and win by 20 in the 61-41 game.

“We used a great half court defense to fuel our fast break offense,” said Hanover Head Coach Chris Beikmann. “Blue Valley did a great job breaking our press, which made us frustrated at times, not focusing on getting out and playing our style.”
