HERINGTON – Washington County fell in the first round of substate against Wabaunsee, the eventual substate champion. The Tigers played Wabaunsee close, with the exact same final scores as Wabaunsee’s championship game against Valley Heights.
The Tigers finished their season with a 17-8 record and ranked #3 in the Twin Valley League with an 8-2 record.
