LeRoy L. Lehman, 85, of Linn, died Dec. 27, 2020, at the Washington County Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1935, at Goodland to Herman and Christina (Boerger) Lehman. He was enlisted with the U. S. Army from 1957 to 1959 and active with the Army Reserves from 1959 to 1963.

He worked as a mechanic since he was 14 years old around the Linn area and Kuhlmans.

Preceding him in death were his parents, nine sisters, and four brothers.

Survivors include his wife, Elfriede, of Linn; sons, David Lehman, Donald (Jayne) Lehman, both of Linn, Daniel (Donna) Lehman, of Topeka; and daughter, Deanna (Brad) Brunton, of Topeka; three sisters, Louise Rahe, of Hillsboro; Ruth Simnitt, Judy (John) Lotz, both of Topeka; one brother Bill (Cheryl) Lehman, of Topeka; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A private funeral for immediate family was Dec. 31 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Greenleaf. Pastor Joshua Hayes officiated. Jared Hatesohl was organist and the congregation sang "Amazing Grace" and "I Am But A Stranger Here."

Pallbearers were David Lehman, Donald Lehman, Daniel Lehman, Brad Brunton, Brent Lehman, Jake Brunton and Justin Oehmke. Honorary pallbearers were Samantha Brunton, Emily Lehman, Megan Lehman, Taylor Brunton and Jenna Oehmke.

Burial was in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery.

A memorial fund is established to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home, Washington.
