Keith Glenn Ayres, 74, died Feb. 20, 2021, at his home in Greenleaf.
A graveside funeral service was Feb. 27 at the Greenleaf City Cemetery where pastor Dan Norwood officiated.
He was born Nov. 28, 1946, in Hastings, Neb., to Glenn and Viola Mildred (Hohfeld) Ayres. In 1964 he graduated from Greenleaf High School.
On May 28, 1977, he married Karen Clark, of Kansas City. They had one daughter, Kaitlin Munstermann, and three grandchildren.
He was a farmer and diesel mechanic. He operated his own mechanic shop, Ayres Garage, where he worked on farm equipment and diesels.
A memorial fund has been established to Dogs for the Deaf. Contributions may be sent in care of Ward Funeral Home.
