Washington City Council member resigns

Melanie Bryant has resigned from the Washington City Council, effective Dec. 8. Mayor Ryan Kern said applications to fill the unexpired term are available at City Hall. At last week’s council meeting, Kern said Bryant planned to move to Marysville. She was appointed to the Washington City Council on June 3, 2013, to fill Kern’s unexpired council term.
