There are 55 properties in Washington County that would be eligible for a tax sale, according to county treasurer Denae Jueneman. She told the Board of County Commissioners on Monday that the last tax sale was in 2016, and some of the 55 properties currently eligible have back taxes dating to 2012. A property has to be at least 3 years delinquent to qualify for a tax sale.
