CC scholars bowl

The Clifton-Clyde scholars bowl team competed against Beloit on Jan. 16.

The JV had 1 win and 3 losses. They lost against Beloit 25-30, Tescott 30-50 and Minneapolis 30-40. They won against St. John’s 60-30.

The varsity had 4 wins and 1 loss. The won against Beloit 40-20, St. John 50-40, Lakeside 40-30 and Tescott 80-30. They lost to Minneapolis 20-70.

The team advanced to finals where they lost against Thomas Moore Prep-Marian 40-45 and won against Washington 40-0 to place fifth.

Individual results: Douglas Koch – 110, Dillon Provost – 100, Wes Girard – 100, Gabe Walter – 90, Quin Girard – 60, Julia Kindel – 10. Also participating were Laken Rudolph, Ambriana Snavely and Lily Rudolph.
