For over 80 years the Concordia Concert Association has brought performers to North Central Kansas. Due to declining membership, the uncertainty of the pandemic, and increase in concert expenses, the executive board has decided not to continue the Concordia Concert Association. This has not been an easy decision.
Thank you to all who have supported the association these many years. Thank you to our 24 board members and numerous membership drive workers. The Concordia banks, Blade-Empire, KNCK AM-FM radio station, and the Brown Grand Theatre have supported the variety of cultural events the association brought to our community. We thank them for their contributions and role in this endeavor.
Finally, we thank the many members of the Concordia Concert Association who joined the organization over the years. The concerts and shows were selected for their entertainment, education and enlightenment. The audience made the evenings special.
We would be very receptive to assist another group of people to sponsor live entertainment in the area. Concordia Concert Association is a non-profit organization.
