Mankato-Rock Hills beats Linn 54-8

Linn scored eight points on Rock Hills, but the former #2 state-ranked team racked up 34 points in the second quarter to end the game at half, beating the Bulldogs 54-8.

“Defensively we are getting to position but not making plays needed to get off  the field,” said Linn Head Coach Ron Smith. “We are young and very inexperienced so these mistakes get magnified on the field against solid opponents. I was pleased with our return game and we had some good pass plays on the offensive side but couldn’t sustain drives. We have to work a lot on fundamentals and continue to improve.”
