A small stone monument was placed in memory of Cam O’Grady in Greenleaf this year, located east of the Greenleaf Clubhouse.

“Cam” O’Grady died when Japan attacked at Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941. He grew up in Greenleaf and graduated from Greenleaf High School in 1940.

Camillus “Cam” O’Grady dreamed of joining the Navy and when he turned 18, after graduating from Greenleaf High School, he fulfilled his dream by enlisting.
