Clifton-Clyde wins three team championships

Clifton-Clyde eighth grader Gabe Walter rounds the corner in the 1600 meter race on his way to a gold medal in the event. Hanover’s Cole Meyer was by his side and Washington County’s Drake Phillips was close behind.

Clifton-Clyde’s Lily Steinbrock, who has the CCMS record, had a great start in the 100 hurdles, but hit the last hurdle which allowed Valley Heights’ Toerber and Clifton-Clyde’s Shea Wurtz to pass her up.

Cegan Atkins, a Hanover eighth grader, finished her undefeated season in high jump with a BVL win by clearing 5-0.

Linn’s 7th grade boys 4x100 relay won the BVL. Runners were, on left, Hunter Weaver, Nick Rosebaugh, Ethan Bott and Gavin Turk.

Claire Beikmann hands off to Sophia Bott in the 4x200 relay. The Linn team won the event as well as the medley relay along with teammates Megan Beier and Ella thalmann.
