People attend Washington’s holiday events Saturday despite rain, threat of snow

All but two registered vendors made it to Santa’s Gifts and Goodies on Dec. 1 despite the poor weather. Vendors sold everything from jewelry and wood and metal art to baked goods.

Sheila Ouellette and Mary Kay Sherlock provide soup samples at Santa’s Gifts and Goodies. The P.E.O. organization sold soup mixes to raise funds for scholarships.
