Education faces new vision, funding and accountability

Area school administrators, board of education members and patrons heard an update on several topics in education in Kansas when they met Aug. 2 at Mayberry’s in Washington as part of the Kansas Association of School Board’s New Day for Kansas Education tour. The tour canvassed the state from Leavenworth to Ashland and Colby to Altamont with many stops in between.

Districts administrators and/ or board members attended from Washington County, Clifton-Clyde, Republic County and Rock Creek. Patrons were present from Hanover and Marysville.
