WASHINGTON – The Washington County Commissioners said they are taking their time studying their options with the future of the seven-year-old jail in Washington and immediate closure is not in discussion right now, but discussion recently has moved to the cost of providing meals to inmates. CBM, the company providing meals to the jail, terminated its contract with the jail on April 2, citing too few inmates to make their services feasible.
