Meenens trying to improve land for wildlife

Two Washington County natives are turning recently inherited land into a wildlife sanctuary. Pat and Micki Meenen, who now live in Hiawatha, have been planting wildlife-friendly grasses and clearing cedar trees from a 240-acre piece of land north of Morrowville that she inherited in 2022.
