The landscaped median that stretches for a block of C Street in Washington, between 1st and College Streets, might be removed since it hasn’t been well-maintained and causes challenges for city crews.
Changes are coming to the north end of Washington’s C Street. The island, which splits the street in front of the old grade school, could be removed by city crews in the future. At the February city council meeting, city administrator Carl Chalfant asked the council about removing that island.
